Keeled Box Turtle

The keeled box turtle has a brown or gray shell
that is jagged along the back end. The color and
shape of the shell help it hide from predators.
Some people say this turtle looks like a leaf.

It lives in cool forests where there are lots of snails and worms to eat.  Yum!

The Malayan snail-eating turtle has big
wide jaws that help it crush aquatic snails,
its favorite food!

It lives in marshes, ditches, and canals in the south of Vietnam.
