For the second year in a row, Prime Produce held its NYC Charity Turtle Race at Prime Produce in Manhattan on Sunday, July 21. Prime Produce, 424 West 54th Street, runs a grassroots, cooperatively run member space—part citizen science and part conservation education program. Monies raised at they Charity Turtle Race will benefit the New York Turtle and Tortoise Society’s rehab efforts, as well as the construction of a native pollinator habitat and turtle sanctuary on the roof of the building. Turtle owners and guests had a fabulous time!
