SUBMERGE Marine Science Festival
Pier 84 at Hudson River Park, Manhattan

This event is ideal for kids and their families! Come celebrate all things marine science during two fun-filled days at Hudson River Park’s 10th Annual SUBMERGE Marine Science Festival. Join the River Project team and regional STEM experts to learn about NYC’s coastal waters and wildlife. This science festival invites the public to explore water topics through interactive experiments,
kid-approved entertainment and much more! Of course, NYTTS will be there with primarily native turtle species. Our booth will be similar to our SUBMERGE Festival booth last year and the Urban Wildlife Festival event at Highbridge Park in previous years. Join us to talk to the public about turtles! Getting to Pier 84
Pier 84 is between Pier 83 (the Circle Line Tours) and Pier 85 (the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum).
Public Transportation: From Grand Central Station or Times Square, take the M42 crosstown bus on 42nd Street west to the last stop (see “M42 last stop” marked on the Google map below). Walk uptown (north) past Pier 83 (the Circle Line) and up to Pier 84 (Hudson River Park).
By Car: Public parking is available at the Circle Line on Pier 83 ($30–$35).
