Mr. Vinh holds a hatchling elongated tortoise in his hand.  Elongated tortoises are just one of seven species that have bred successfully at the TCC.  However, most breeding has been incidental to date with the exception of Mauremys annamensis.  In 2003 the park hopes to expand its planned breeding efforts to focus on several additional species.
