Urban Wildlife Appreciation Day 2011

On Saturday, April 7, 2011, NYTTS participated for the second year in Urban Wildlife Appreciation Day, held on the Cloisters Lawn at the foot of the famous Cloisters museum in Fort Tryon Park. The event was sponsored by the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and the Urban Park Rangers.

Exhibits included squirrels, raccoons, coyotes, skunks, eagles, live birds of prey, musical performances, kids’ activities, and of course, turtles provided by NYTTS.
